Hello and welcome to our website for Prestwich Clough Day 2024

Last year’s Prestwich Clough Day was a great success and we are delighted to announce that Prestwich Clough Day will be returning on the 19th May.

Last year saw a Folk Concert from the Houghton Weavers on the Saturday night called Clough Day Does Folk and we are hoping to host a similar event this year, so another event to add to your calendar. Watch out for details on our Facebook page.

This year will see the return of some of your favourite activities and we hope to have some new things for you to see and do.

In these current harsh financial times it even more important that we have as many free activities and Events as possible to help us forget for a while our worries and problems whilst bringing the Community together, and nothing says summer is arriving more than Prestwich’s own and very unique Clough Day.

This will be the 18th year we have managed to host the Clough Day so I would like to thank all of our Sponsors, our team and everyone who has agreed to participate in making this possible. Please remember that the Event is organised and run completely by volunteers who work hard to bring you a great afternoon out. However in times of austerity funding events like ours gets harder. So if you own a business and would like to sponsor us please get in touch or if you see a volunteer rattling a bucket at the gate and are able just throw in a couple of pounds as every pound helps us continue to fund this great event.
